Lesson 5 of 13

The knight

The knight is the stubborn piece: it moves in an L and jumps over everything.

The L-jump

Two squares straight and then one sideways. Or one straight and then two sideways. Always an L.

Jumping over others

As the only piece, the knight jumps over other pieces. An enemy may stand on the square where it lands: you capture it.
